Founded in 2012, the Southside Women’s Business Alliance (SWBA) is dedicated to uniting, celebrating and supporting women entrepreneurs, business owners and corporate professionals. It is the goal of the SWBA to help business women build their businesses by providing networking opportunities, educational events and referral sharing.
The Southside Women’s Business Alliance will exist as a separate entity, not associated with any other organization or public entity. SWBA will hold executive board meetings monthly, or as otherwise decided by the Executive Board.
The Southside Women’s Business Alliance will seek to further women in business as indicated in the Mission Statement. The goals for this organization are as follows:
Uniting women from a variety of professions and encouraging them to develop relationships with other business-oriented women through networking opportunities.
Celebrating the unique strengths of our women members in order to foster an environment of personal and professional growth by offering educational opportunities at our monthly meetings.
Supporting business growth through referral sharing.
